Best Compact Circular Saw With Laser Guide
A circular saw is a powerful tool with an electric motor and a blade for making cuts in many different materials. The cutting may be done with the blade spinning right-side up, or upside down.
An underrated aspect of this tool is its safety features that should be considered before purchase to ensure the safety of the user. As one reviews this best circular saw with a laser guide, one finds out that these features are crucial to the purchase. The Best Circular Saw With a Laser Guide Should Have the Following Features:
A dust blower to clear away any debris that will interfere with your view or ability to make the cut. This can help prevent kickbacks and dangerous flying of metal pieces. A knob at the front end to secure your workpiece, which is helpful when cutting against hard materials. The blade guard must activate on contact with the saw blade before it reaches the material being cut. To ensure maximum protection, there should be no space between the tool handle and blade guard. There should be support for both hands so that you can properly grip it while making your cuts—a feature lacking in many models on market today. Note: ideally this grip should not dig into your hands but fit snuggly. The circular saw with laser guide should have the ability to cut at a variety of angles: 0°, 21.6°, 45°, and 57°. It is said that these angles can be obtained by setting the handle lock at any angle between 90-135 degrees.
By obtaining these angles, the user can even cut baseboards without having to make a 45 degree angle beforehand. This is very useful when remodeling. It should have a blade guard that covers the entire area above and below the saw blade and activates after the trigger has been released. The blade teeth must be hardened for better performance. Blades with hard teeth (not carbide-tipped) are more common, cheaper, and durable than carbide blades.
A circular saw with a laser guide will ensure accuracy – just point it at your desired cut line where you want the cut to start and end then pull the trigger. Its high-tech design prevents users from needing to lift their eyes from what they’re cutting to ensure accuracy.
A circular saw with an extension cord has the greatest risk for fire and shock hazards because this adds another layer of insulation that could be damaged. Sawing into electrical wires often causes electrical shorts and sparks, which can lead to a fire.

The laser sight on this tool is amazing- it is very bright so you can actually see it- not like some which are so dim there is no point to have it. Also, has a nice long extension cord so you can move around. Overall I’ve found this small wood saw very useful on some home projects I’ve been working on.
