Recommended Wet/Dry Vacuums

If you’re doing any type of a DIY renovation project, a wet/dry vacuum is an indispensable tool. These vacuums are capable of picking up both solid and liquid substances. They are so powerful that they can even pick up nails, wood chips, and fine sawdust.

Option 1 – Armor All, AA255 , 2.5 Gallon 2 Peak HP Wet/Dry Utility Shop Vacuum

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly wet/dry vacuum to keep handy, then this option from Armor All (link to price on Amazon) is perfect. While certainly isn’t the most heavy-duty option on the market, it packs enough power to clean up the majority of the messes that you’ll come across when working on a project.

Some of my favorite features for this model are it’s lightweight, at only 7 pounds, the fact that it comes with a 2-year warranty, and the various attachments included to increase its utility.

Option 2 – Vacmaster, VBV1210, 12 Gallon 5 Peak HP Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum

This option from Vacmaster (link to price on Amazon) is really like getting two tools for the price of one since it doubles as a detachable one-handed blower.

My favorite features from this model are the 12-gallon tank that allows you to work for longer periods before you have to empty it out, the 12-foot power cord, and the 2 extension wands that enable you to reach even further without having to plug into a new power outlet.

Options 3 – DeWALT 16 Gallon Poly Wet/Dry Vac/Acc

Last but certainly not least is this option from DeWALT (link to price on Amazon.) If you’re planning on doing any larger projects, then this is the vacuum that you’ll want to have nearby.

With a 16 gallon tank, 20-foot extension cord, and incredibly powerful suction power, this vacuum is ready to handle (almost) anything that you can throw at it. You can learn more about its exact specifications here.
