The fabric is sturdy and the cover is well made. It fits my 36X36 air conditioner perfectly. One of the corners has a velcro strip/seal to accommodate the hoses and electrical cable that go to the house that works very well and the velcro has a strong grip. Before I got the cover, this was a concern because the product description does a poor job of showing/describing it. My AC has 2 hoses and 1 cable and are NOT in a tidy little bundle at the base of the unit. This cover deals with the issue very well.

After doing quite of bit of research/comparison of options & trying to determine the best replacement cover for winter for our AC unit, decided to go with this one. Am SO GLAD! Our A/C unit sits outdoors, unfortunately near trees that shed small leaves that each year have fallen into the unit and started to decay. We bought an entire new HVAC system and this time I decided to protect the unit from leaves. So far so good. fits well, but since all A/C units are a bit different in size, make sure you get one that is not too snug. It might not fit. This one has a tug-string at the bottom that makes sure it will not come off. It also has a slit, for the copper pipe and wires to fit nicely.
